Rising star Athi Cwele has opened up about his popular role as Kea Moroka's (Kgomotso Christopher) son, Kamogelo Moroka, on Generations: The Legacy.

The popular actor is frequently getting roasted on social media for his portrayal as Kamogelo Moroka on the SABC show.

Cwele, who stars alongside Generations: The Legacy star Thuli Phongolo, has been trending on social media for his latest role on the soapie.

The rising star, who often trends on TikTok for his role on the show, shares in an interview with Drum Magazine that being a celebrity is not his thing.

"This whole celebrity vibe is not my vibe, I don't consider myself a celebrity; I work and go home.
"Playing Kamo has been quite challenging because I speak a language that's not mine. I'm Zulu, but I can speak 3 other languages, Xhosa, Swati, and Tswana," says the star.

Social media user @tiredfeminist recently shared videos on her X account of Cwele as Kamo on the SABC1 soapie.
