Recently, according to Sunday World, the 35-year-old star, who was rumoured to have been awarded a multi-million rand tender, has kept his love life a secret for many years, and in 2025, he decided to make an exciting announcement about taking his relationship to the next level.

Mpungose confirmed with the publication that he will be tying the knot in December 2025 with his lover, with whom he has been with for 10 years. Sources revealed that the special day will be a vibrant blend of traditional Zulu ceremonies and Maskandi flair. Umembeso, umkhehlo (traditional Zulu ceremonies), features a star-studded guest list alongside amakhosi (chiefs), fellow musicians, and the Blue Nation faithful.

The star, who bought a brand-new truck in November 2024, confirmed that he will marry more wives, although he didn't disclose how many women he would tie the knot with; his unknown fiancée is his first wife.

"It’s true. I am getting married to my first wife, and I plan to marry more than one wife. At this point, I cannot share how many wives I want," he said.

The Maskandi singer isn't the only celebrity who is officially off the market this year, as Briefly News reported that actress Ntando Duma let people know that she was off the market by flexing her diamond ring.

The media personality confirmed the rumours that she was officially married when she shared a photo of her wedding ring, as well as changing her Instagram name.

Ntando and Una also had a cosy traditional wedding ceremony. Ntando described her husband as kind, loving, respectful and gracious. She said it has been the most peaceful relationship she's ever had. Online users raved about how much Ntando has been glowing since getting married.
