While speaking to Briefly News financial expert Fulufhelani Mashapha shared steps that young people could take to achieve financial independence at a young age, especially in a high-pressure financial environment by saying:
"Young people can work towards financial independence by budgeting early, saving and investing at least 10% of their income, avoiding unnecessary debt, and developing skills that boost earning potential."
She went on to add that:
"Building an emergency fund, exploring low-cost investments, and accessing financial literacy resources can further strengthen long-term stability, even in a high-pressure financial environment. With discipline and consistency, these practices can pave the way to true financial independence."
